Dale Walksler to Receive AMCA Legends Award
The American Motorcycle Club of America, Legends Chapter, has announced that Dale Walksler, founder and curator of Dale’s Wheels Through Time Museum has been chosen as the recipient of their 2019 “Legends Award.”
Founded in 2016, the Legends Chapter, based in South Carolina, is committed to the love and collection of antique motorcycles. The “Legends Award” was developed to be given away each year to a different person or organization as a way to honor those who have made significant impacts on motorcycle history.
We’re Now “Dale’s Wheels Though Time!”
Wheels Through Time, “The Museum That Runs,” has announced that they are updating their name in honor and recognition of museum founder and curator, Dale Walksler. The new name will be, “Dale’s Wheels Through Time Museum.”
New Season Opening Day – April 4th, 2019
Join us on April 4th, 2019 for the first day of our 2019 operating season.
During the off season, the museum staff stays busy adding to and improving each of the exhibits at The Wheels Through Time. Dale, Matt and Kris also spend several hours a day rebuilding and restoring motorcycles that will be going on display during the 2019 Season. We have some great new rare bikes for you to check out in 2019 as well as new products in out gift shop.

American Motor Drome Company: Wall of Death Thrillshow.
Join us Memorial day weekend May 23-27, 2019 to experience The Wall of Death!
The Wall of Death is a vintage live action thrill show featuring a motor drome, a silo-shaped wooden cylinder 30 feet in diameter. Inside the drome motorcycle daredevils travel along the vertical wall performing trick, fancy, and acrobatic riding.
Memorial Day Weekend at Wheels Through Time. May 23-27, 2019
Join us this Memorial Day Weekend and help honor our Veterans. Our Annual Flag Raising Ceremony will be May 25th at 12 noon.
It is a privilege and an honor to house some of the machines that assisted our World War 2 Veterans in winning the war.
We’ll be open Thursday through Monday from 9:00am-5:00pm and will be offering free admission to all Veterans on Memorial Day which is Monday, May 27th, 2019.
The Iron Dinosaur at Wheels Through Time. June 21-23, 2019
We’re exciting to announce that Don Gilmore and the Iron Dinosaur Racing Team will be displaying the Iron Dinosaur June 21st through June 23rd at the Wheels Through Time! The Iron Dinosaur Racing team was formed in 2012 with the goal of designing and constructing a land speed race car capable of capturing records at both the East Coast Timing Association (ECTA) Ohio Mile and the Southern California Timing Association (SCTA) Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week.
