We’re Now “Dale’s Wheels Through Time!”

The new name and logo honors Dale Walksler’s legacy and contribution to Amercan motorcycle history

Wheels Through Time, “The Museum That Runs,” has announced that they are updating their name in honor and recognition of museum founder and curator, Dale Walksler. The new name will be, “Dale’s Wheels Through Time Museum.” Coinciding with the name change will be a new logo and branding as well as new and updated merchandise.

Beginning over 50 years ago, Dale set out with a vision to create and establish a collection that would preserve the history of American Transportation. After 24 years as a successful Harley-Davidson dealer in MT. Vernon, Illinois, Dale made a move to Maggie Valley, North Carolina and has spent the last 17 years shaping the museum into a world-class institution.

The museum now boats over 375 of the countries rarest and historic two and four-wheeled vehicles, spanning over 115 years of motorcycle history. During that time, over 1.5 million people, representing almost every country on the globe, have visited the museum — a clear testament of the legacy that Dale has created. Dale’s passion and singular focus coupled with hit TV shows such as “What’s In The Barn” and “American Restoration,” has helped him to expand the museum’s reach.

In that time, countless others have recognized Dale through articles, interviews and his introduction to the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame. With the new name, the museum joins them in their recognition of Dale’s contribution to motorcycle history.
